1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TradeScreenAI ("this research prototype"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use this research prototype.

2. Description of Service

TradeScreenAI is an AI-powered sanctions screening research prototype that screens vendor and entity names against publicly available international sanctions lists (OFAC SDN, EU Consolidated, UN Security Council, UK OFSI). This research prototype is developed as part of graduate-level coursework at Atlantis University.

3. Not Legal or Compliance Advice

IMPORTANT: TradeScreenAI is a decision-support tool and research prototype. It does NOT constitute legal advice, compliance advice, or a substitute for professional sanctions screening services. Screening results should always be reviewed by a qualified compliance officer before any transaction decisions are made.

4. No Warranty

This research prototype is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This prototype does not warrant that:

• This research prototype will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Screening results will be accurate, complete, or current
• The sanctions lists used are exhaustive or up-to-date at all times
• The AI analysis will correctly identify all sanctioned entities

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tatiana Podobivskaia shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this research prototype, including but not limited to damages arising from reliance on screening results.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use this research prototype for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble this research prototype
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from this research prototype
• Misrepresent screening results as certified compliance determinations
• Use this research prototype to circumvent or evade sanctions regulations

7. Intellectual Property

All content, algorithms, code, and design elements of TradeScreenAI are the intellectual property of Tatiana Podobivskaia. The Cyrillic transliteration engine, multi-list screening architecture, and AI-powered analysis methodology are proprietary.

8. Sanctions Data Sources

TradeScreenAI screens against publicly available sanctions lists maintained by government authorities. These lists are updated periodically but this prototype does not guarantee real-time synchronization. Users are responsible for verifying results against official sources.

9. Modifications

The developer reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of this research prototype after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
